PROPERTY TAXES
Town property and personal tax collection begins at the end of December and ends on January 31. Any taxes paid after
January 31 are handled by the county treasurer.
The easiest and preferred method of payment is by mail. The town has contracted with the Price County Treasurer to
collect all real estate and personal property taxes. The first installment/full payment is due by January 31 payable to: Price
County Treasurer. Please include the tax stubs that were included with your tax bill for the installment that you are
paying. The postmark on the envelope is the paid date, regardless of the date on the check. Receipts will be mailed within
seven days of receipt.
You must pay your taxes to the Price County Treasurer after the January 31 postmark deadline. The treasurer’s office hours
are included with the tax due statement.
For more information on the value of your property, please contact Mike Schnautz, town assessor, at 715-266-2409
or send him a message.

of this responsibility each year by April 1st. A late fee of $5 will be assessed after April 1st for any dog 5 months or older
